Workplace Violence and Harassment
Training to protect workers physically and psychologically.
What is the course?
This 8 hour course will focus on the legal requirements to protect workers from violence and harassments in the workplace.
Based on the requirements of s.32 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the course will focus on the identification and control of WVH hazards in the workplace.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify legal requirements of employers and supervisors
Identify elements of violence and harassment programs
Explain roles of MLITSD and WSIB
Perform a workplace violence risk assessment
Investigate violence and harassment occurrences
