What is the course?
This 8 hour course will enable workers to learn about the legal requirements of traffic control.
The course will give participants the knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate Book 7: The Ontario Traffic Manual.
What will it teach?
Who is it for?
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify roles of workplace parties and MTO in highway traffic control
Identify hazards to vehicles, pedestrians and workers
Navigate book 7 to help identify the correct method of traffic control for the given situation
Perform effective traffic control
This course is primarily designed for but not limited to:
Workers and supervisors that may perform work on or near Ontario roads
