Basic Supervisor Awareness

What is the course?
This 4 hour course will enable supervisors to learn about their legally obligated duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
This course will focus on the legal obligations of supervisors and the resources available to help them do so.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify roles of workplace parties including supervisors
Identify the purpose of the internal responsibility system
Explain roles of MLITSD and WSIB
Support rights of workers
Identify health and safety resources
Resolve health and safety concerns
