Accident Investigation

What is the course?
This 8 hour course will enable participants to successfully perform an accident/incident investigation.
The course focuses on: gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, root cause analysis and report writing.
The course will cover legislative requirements for accident and incident reporting as outline in the OHSA as well as best practices.

Explain the investigation process
Recognize both the immediate and root causes of accidents
Prioritize identified hazards for control
Recommend changes to prevent recurrence
Successfully perform an accident/incident investigation
